Dr. Ghulam Md Ashraf
Managing Editor

Dr. Ashraf is a molecular neuroscientist and biochemist with over 15 years of experience in research, teaching, and academic leadership in biomedical sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University and holds a PGDBA in Operations Management from Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning. He also completed the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) in collaboration with University of British Columbia, Canada. He is currently Associate Professor of Biochemistry at Gulf Medical University, UAE.

His research focuses on molecular mechanisms and innovative therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease, including receptor signaling, engineered biologics, and nanomedicine-based neuroprotection. Recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford–PLOS–Elsevier) since 2021, he has authored nearly 450 publications (~20,000 citations; H-index ~72) and holds four international patents.

As Managing Editor, Dr. Ashraf leads the journal’s editorial operations, oversees a rigorous and transparent peer-review process, ensures strict adherence to publication ethics and international editorial standards, and works strategically to enhance the journal’s scientific quality, credibility, indexing profile, and global visibility.

Ms. Zareena Ali
Journal Manager

Ms. Zareena Ali is a biochemist, researcher, and academic editor with specialized expertise in nanobiotechnology and antimicrobial resistance. She earned her M.Phil. in Biochemistry from The Women University Multan (Pakistan), where her research focused on the development of green-synthesized nanoparticles targeting multidrug-resistant uropathogens—an area of significant global health importance.

She currently serves as a Part-Time Lecturer at MNS University of Agriculture (Pakistan), teaching biochemistry, microbiology, and allied life sciences courses while actively contributing to academic mentoring and research development.

Ms. Ali has authored numerous research articles, review papers, book chapters, and academic books, demonstrating her strong engagement in scholarly publishing. As Journal Manager, she oversees the journal’s editorial workflow, coordinates the peer-review process, ensures compliance with publication ethics and international editorial standards, and plays a key role in strengthening the journal’s scientific quality, operational efficiency, and global visibility.
